Hello,

I'm trying to setup the RDC to connect to a terminal
server and run an application. On some of the users,
the "save password" box is grayed out. We don't want them
to be Windows logon box to come up. I did uncheck the RDP
protocol box for always prompt for password. I believe
this happens on ME and earlier clients. Also, I can't seem
to make the connection bar disappear when the user is in
the application. We don't want them to use the "X" to
close out if possible. Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Ian

For "save password" the RDP client uses encryption not
supported by anything before win2k, so it won't work on
me, 98, nt, etc.
As far as getting rid of the connection bar, I don't
know. It's good that they can minimize a "full screen"
session, but bad that they can disconnect instead of
logging out. I'm addressing the problem with training and
negative reinforcement techniques.
