Password from VPN to RDP

We are currently trying to streamline our logon process
to 2003 Terminal Services from a VPN connection. I have
created a VPN custom connection with 1.3 connection
manager that only requires a username and password for
users. After the connection is established a custom .rdp
file is executed connecting to 2003 Terminal Services but
again a logon screen prompts for username and password.

Is it possible to pass the logon credentials from the VPN
connection directly to the .rdp logon?
 
Pass Through authentication (like you are describing)
doesn't exist yet for RDP (only ICA supports this).
