Computers restarts suddenly

Any countdown message box before shutdown? Have you implemented anything at
2nd Nov? Is there anything wrong in the event log for those machines? Does
it help when the computer clock set back to before 2nd Nov? Did you ever
tried running virus scanning software on these machines? Have you configured
Windows Update and make sure your PCs are all up-to-date? I think these
questions may help you resolve your problem.

Hi everyone!

Since 2nd November some of our computers decided to restart suddenly.
Does anyone knows what is going on? Is anyone else here having the same
problem as i?
I tried to question the users what were their last steps but as u may know,
they always say the same thing "I did nothing. It just restarted by it self"

Hope someone can help me!
Meanwhile i'll keep searching and if i get any answer i'll post it!!

I found the solution!
I noticed that every machine that didn't update windows were having that
problem and to solve it it is necessary the security update KB835732.

Problem solved!

Sounds like sasser!

Try this, download mcafee stinger from
http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/averttools.asp
put it on your desktop. Reboot into safe mode, run stinger (this way it
gets all of the files). If it comes back clean then you have other issues.
