Computer will not reboot

G

G. Bush

When I attempt to reboot (start | turn off computer | turn off or restart)
nothing happens. If I turn the computer off with the button on the computer
it restarts without any problems. This started several days ago and I
cannot remember any unusual event occurring at the time. Everything else
seems to function fine.

Would appreciate any help and/or advice. Thanks

Use Start/Run and type "%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -r -t 0" without
quotes. Does this restart?

Right click task bar and select task manager to see if you have something
running in the background.

It sounds like you may have a shutdown problem. Look here:
