computer security-blocking a person's access

I would like to block a certain person from using my
computer.She is more computer literate than I am.She was
visiting,I allowed her to use my computer,but did not
o.k. her downloading or posting or anything,only use of
my machine.Is there a way to prevent her or anyone the
ability to do this??? I'm quite aggravted that she took
advantage of my generosity-she did not have the courtesy
to even ask,if she had,I probably would have allowed her
to do SOME. THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!

first option, lock your door. if someone has physical access to a machine
and knows what they are doing there isn't too much you can do to stop them
completely. making sure all accounts have good passwords is the next best
step, but only if you require all users to log in with them all the time.
