Computer not "waking up"

my daughters computer ,,an older p3 running Winxp sp2 ,, has been giving me
a headache , even though i have set it to a "always on" and the monitor and
hard disk not to power down until after 3hrs ,, unchecked hibernate ,, the
damn thing won't come back on after the screen goes dark after sitting for
a long period of inactivity ,, the computer has to be rebooted.

i've checked the power management in the bios , and the sleep mode is
disabled and it still doesn't come back to life.

is there anything else that could be wrong or tried to recify this???

thanks to all in advance

Just get a Mac.

Problem solved.

They are MUCH better machines, with MUCH better software.

It's the choice of people that are tired of Windows.
