im running vista home premium

within the last month my computer has started locking up alot it used to
never do it now its at least 2-3 times a weak or more any ideas on how to fix
this maybe a repair because i got my full install disk

my windows media player seems to be screwed up near the end of a song no
mater what the langth at about 5-10 sec from end it skips a little then
finishes it dosent skip on other media players just that one. i downloaded i
tunes to use but it comes up with a configuring itunes message when i launch
it so it takes 15-45 sec to start which is anoying idk whats wrong with it.

i was running office 2000 and it was working perfect then i installed a
trial version of office 2007 and it kept getting a windows installer screen
when it starts so it takes 1-2 min to start so i tried going back to office
2000 but noww it does the same thing i tried reinstalling it but it still
does it now and i tried the solution on the microsoft website but the first
thing it says to try has the download link not even linking to the right page
and the other things dident help anyone have any idea how to fix this

thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with any of these issues

i already have windows installer cleanup utility and i tried it with using
this and without it and im still having the proplem

Hi,

I just went through a procedure with a All-In-One printer, fax, scanner
where on startup a message about Windows Installer wanting to install a
Document Viewer. Somehow during the install something got messed up, so I
had to Add/Remove Document Viewer then reinstall everything. This took care
of my problem.

My suggestion would be without knowing what office is wanting to install is
for you to uninstall Office 2000. Go to this link
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/239938 and finish the cleanup. Reinstall
Office 2000 and see if this clears up your problem.

All the best,
George
