computer kicks me back to my desk top if i try to open a certain f

I have just downloaded a series of files from my jump drive to my pc. I can
open all of the files fine except one (now both on my jump drive and my pc).
Everytime I try to open it ,i get kicked back to my desktop and completely
out of "My Computer."
