Computer keeps restarting after I downloaded the XP SP1

After downloading the Windows XP Serv Pack 1, it automatically shutdown and restarted and now it just keeps restarting when it gets to the Windows XP screen. I have tried f8 and using all the options listed in that screen and it just restarts again. I can't get it up at all now.

That is wonderful to have a repair site but, how am I supposed to install repair? Can't get past windows start screen then reboots. Safe mode, nothing works.

Not sure I understand what you mean.
You are not supposed to go to Windows to perform the Repair
Installation.
Insert the Windows XP CD and follow the prompts as stated on the link
I gave.

I tried this, but after I get to the welcome setup screen and press enter, it gives me an error saying to disable my cache and shadows and update my bios in safe mode and gives an error code: STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000006, 0x808551FC, 0xF80D3A14, 0x00000000). I then disabled all the caches and shadow and I cannot get into safe mode to update the bios. I tried it over and over and I keep getting the same message. One time I got a message while trying to get to the welcome screen and it said my fastfat.sys was corrupted. That message doesn't come up anymore
