Computer Freezes

My computer freezes alot sometimes not alot, other times about 10 or more
times a day!And i have to shut it off with the on off button....there is no
virus or anthing it freezes most when i do more....i moved the computer
because i thought maybe it was to cold for it...it worked better for a little
and then started to freeze again.Some people have told me to get more memory
because i don't have alot in the first place others say to open to case and
clean it out because the fan might have to much dust on it.I have reinstalled
my computer or crashed it about 4 times already............Please tell a
fast,easy and cheap way to fix it!!!!!

Hi Shanda,

How much memory do you have? If you are having computer problems, perhaps
they stem from bad memory. Memory is probably the most troublesome thing on a
computer.

Microsoft has a software utility that will check your computer's memory.

Download it, and install it to a CD or floppy. It's free at the link below:
