Compatibility issues with Kodak and Microsoft

What is the deal with Kodak software and Microsoft? I have witnessed
major problems with several other machines after install of *any* Kodak
program on XP. Specifically, system slow downs.

Anyone have any assistance or opinions on this?

I have Kodak EasyShare Software 3.2 installed on my
computer running Windows XP and it runs and prints great.
