Comp keeps freezing up

Yesterday out of nowhere my comp kept freezing up. No keyboard or mouse.
Won't let me ctrl+alt+delete to reboot. Have no idea why it would start doing
this out of the blue. I thought it might be yahoo messenger so I removed and
reinstalled. Did not fix the problem. Can't seem to find anything about it on
my comp, so here I am. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
Some dude who wants to throw his comp on the ground and set it on fire.

Sounds like a w32.worm virus to me, I'd suggest running your antivirus.
Other than that run a test of your system hardware. I suggest PC Doctor
software if you can get it. It worked for me and found I had a stick of bad
DDR memory.

Just a few suggestions from someone that has already tossed his pc
on the ground, hundreds of times.
