Comp Doesnt Boot up after sp2 install

Neil

Having installed sp 2 and rebooting the system as per
instucted i get as far as the Windows SPLASH screen and
then a very quick flash of a light blue screen, Cannot
tell you what it says doesnt stay up long enough. then it
tried to reboot again it keeps doing this without showing
signs of loading. I have tried safemode but wouldnt let
me in that way either so i had to do a "repair" with the
XP disk which takes it back to before SP2.... Have since
done a fresh install of XP and got the machine up and
running again but i am reluctant to try installing sp
again due to the problems its caused..... ANY help will
be very gratefull

Make sure you are not booting from your CD or floppy
drive. Check your BIOS settings to make sure everything is
in order and then it should get past the reoccuring blue
screen and load into Windows. Make sure you take your
Windows install disk out before you reboot after the setup
as well.
