STILL got major Probs with sp2 install STILL wont boot

Neil

Having followed the advice given after my last post about
SP2 not letting my system boot after install i decided to
try the install again after running ADAware and Spybot
and Norton Anti Virus. I proceeded to d/load and install
SP2 everything went fine UNTIL i had to reboot....
Started to boot up got as far as the windows splash
screen and then a very quick flash of a blue screen
(unable to read it was so quick) then starts to reboot
again,It would have continued to do this had i not
proceeded to repair XP again back to SP1 using the XP
disk. Upon finishing the repair my system now takes an
absolute age to load and seems unstable. I was just about
to post this when i got the "blue screen of death"
telling me that the "Driver IRQL not less or equal"... I
know there r several issues in this post but can someone
please help as its doing my head in.. I dont really want
to have to do a 5th fresh windows install has been done 4
times since fri night... thanks in advance

Hi Neil,
This message is caused due to unsigned drivers being used in the system,
also i would suggest that you could check the RAM modules on the system. Bad
RAM modules can also throw up such errors
Knowledge Base article from Microsoft that you could go through is

Hi Mohan
Thanks for your swift reply i have now managed
to solve the IRQL problem. But my machine is still
running very slow when its booting up,it has only started
doing this since i had to do the repair with the XP disk
after the SP2 install stopped my computer from booting.
