Common Files folder opens at startup of Windows

I made a couple of times a recovery in my laptop's disc. Then I installed
the XP Service Park 2 and later on only the drivers of my adsl modem and also
the programme and drivers of my external Terratec Aureon 7.1 firewire sound
card. Afterwards everytime windows start the C:\Program Files\Common folder
opens (with Bin folder inside) by default. It must be stressed that before
the double recovery and with the soundcard installed the Common folder never
opened at the start-up.

I have red and followed the recommendations of Mr. Doug Knox in the mutual
thread
"http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/...-us-ms-winxp&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=en-us&m=1&p=1"
and I run the XP Startup Programs Tracker:

-- Registry --
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

No Items Found

-- Registry --
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Apoint C:\Program Files\Apoint\Apoint.exe
AtiPTA Atiptaxx.exe
CnxDslTaskBar "C:\Program Files\Crypto\AccessRunner
ADSL\CnxDslTb.exe"
TerraTec Remote Control C:\Program Files\Common
Files\TerraTec\Remote\TTTVRC.exe

-- Registry --
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

No Items Found

However, when I opened the folder
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, I saw that
it contains:
(Default), REGSZ, (value not set)
AureonFWService, REGSZ, "C:\Program Files\Terratec\...."
ctfmon.exe, REGSZ, C\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe

Moreover, I run the application "Remove Common Tasks from Desktop" and I got
that the value below is correct, no repairs needed:
file://%userappdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop.htt

What's going on? What do I have to do? Any recommendation?

Hi Fotis,

Click Start, Run and type REGEDIT.EXE
Navigate to the following branch:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Double-click the entry "TerraTec Remote Control" and enclose the existing
data within double-quotes.

So that the following text,

C:\Program Files\Common Files\TerraTec\Remote\TTTVRC.exe
becomes:
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\TerraTec\Remote\TTTVRC.exe"

Close REGEDIT.EXE

Note that the application "Remove Common Tasks from Desktop" is intended for
a different problem.
