System 32 on startup

I have had the same problem, but have finally found the string that is
incorrect. the "default" value in
HKCR\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run is "/s" I turned it off
using msconfig and it the folder didn't open. Can I delete the default
value? or should it be something else.
