When starting Windows a Common Folder file opens. It shows a driver folder,
I reviewed a similiar problem addressed by Doug Knox. I followed the same
procedures, however did not find the SSC file in the registry to enclose
caps. See registry below. Doug, can you help. Thanks.

Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe
Navigate to the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Double-click "TVT Scheduler Proxy" value.

Enclose the existing data within double-quotes, so that the following data:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Lenovo\Scheduler\scheduler_proxy.exe

becomes:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Lenovo\Scheduler\scheduler_proxy.exe"

Exit Registry Editor.

Ramesh,

Thanks for your response. Did the deed...restarted...did not work. Checked
the regedit.exe...found that the caps were not there! Put the caps in a
second time...same thing!

Joe,

Perhaps the program is removing the quotes around the registry value during every boot?

Create a shortcut for the following file, and place it in the Startup folder.

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Lenovo\Scheduler\scheduler_proxy.exe"

Then delete the entry from RUN key.

Sorry for the delay in getting back...I was away for the Holiday.

Can you please be more specific: What Startup folder? Documents &
Settings...all users, me??

What do I delete from Start/Run...the file in Registry? Can you be more
specific.

Thank you for all your help.

Creating a shortcut to the scheduler_proxy.exe and placing it in the All Users...\Startup folder would work. However, the scheduler_proxy.exe would recreate the registry entry at every boot. Your best option is to contact their support, citing this problem.
