code 41

device manager gives code 41 device not found message but
cdrom drive works ok on other machines driver is upto
date and has decided it dont wanna work inmy comp any
ideas please

Run the provided registry patch

That should fix your problem (basically, a filter driver is missing or
non-operational, the registry patch will delete the filter drivers
references for your cdrom(s))
