cntrl-alt-del question

E

Ed Luskey

when I push these three buttons together everything on my desktop
disappears and a windows security window comes up with all kinds of
options such as lock computer, log off, shutdown, taks manager etc..

I'd like to revert it back to the way it used to be. I used to just
get the task manager when hitting cntrl-alt-del. Any ideas how to get
that?

Also with the shutdown menu, it's now a pull down menu, it used to be
radio buttons. How would I change that?

thanks so much

Hi Ed,

Go to Start/Run and type in:
control userpasswords2

Once there, Users must ...... and under Advanced, uncheck Secure Logon

If this isn't your case, go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords
Once there, Change the way users log on and off.

Tip for the former:

Add Control UserPasswords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)
