ctrl+alt+del window appearance

I don't know how it happened but now when I click ctrl+alt+del to bring up
the task manager I get something else. My desktop and taskbar icons disappear
and I get a windows security window with a whole bunch rectangular buttons:

lock computer log off shutdown
change password task manager cancel.

how do I get it to where when I hit ctrl+alt+del all that comes up is the
task manager?

my shutdwon window has also changed, instead of the radio buttons, i get a
pull down menu.

Try ctrl-shift-esc to invoke the Task Manager

You are using a classic logon which will give the Windows Security
Interface. You can just click on the Task Manger button to invoke the Task
Manger.
