Restart menu CTRL, ALT, DEL

I have three machine running XP Pro. On two whe I hit CTRL, ALT, DEL i
get one type of window that's called the "Task Manager" With
adiitional tabs. On the third machine when I di the same I get a
window that has buttons on it. at the top it reads:
Lock Log Off Shutdown.......
Change Password..... Task Manager Cancel

This is all in a nice rectangular box.

My quaestion is, how do I change this view as I like the later one
better? Where is this setting hidden?

try double left-click in the area inside the frame.

You need to ensure that the Welcome Screen and Fast User Switching are
turned on in Control Panel, User Accounts, Change the way users log on and
off
