client hardware requirements linking to W2K server

I

Ian

We are looking to purchase and deploy a new W2k server in
a mixed workstation environment.
We have W95, W98 First edition,W98 Second Edition,W2k
pro, and XP workstations.
We would like to know if our older computers running W95
& W98 are compatible to run on a W2K server.
Are there minimum hardware requirements for these client
workstations?

They will work with W2K server as they did with NT 4.0. But in order to take
advantages of many of the W2K features you really need to move up to W2K Pro
as a min.

Doing this will allow you to increased security and allow you to have more
central control of your users experience. Hopefully you can upgrade to W2K
Pro :)
