Clicking Save Icon Highlights all text.....why?

Hello,

I support two access applications. In one of them when the user clicks the
save icon in the toolbar all of the text in the field the cursor was in gets
highlighted. This is a problem if they hit any key all of the text is gone.
This does not happen in the other application I support. I have put
breakpoints in the events but do not see what is causing the different
behavior. I have also compared the options under the tools menu. There is
probably a simple explanation for this but it has me stumped.

Ok.....think I figured this out after much banging of head against desktop
;-) Forms based directly on a table work fine when saving....the text is
not highlighted.....forms based on queries hightlight all text in a field
when saving.

GAH!

Is there anyway to get around this? Many of my forms are based on queries.
