Hey Elmo, didn't you used to work for Xerox in a past life?
Where did he say he needed Postscript in his specs?
I'd recommend an HP 2300D. If a Xerox printer breaks, you're
looking at $450 for them to say hello to you. It's a lot easer to find
HP consumables. Go to your local office store and see how much
Xerox printer supplies are on the shelf.
You might look into a HP LJ4+, or a later commercial model with duplexer.
These were designed for heavy duty cycles and are old enough to be
affordable. The new units seem flimsy, and the consumables may cost more
as well, offsetting the less costly purchase price. I just went to a 4050
from a 4+ (still going strong). Built well.
