Glad to see you agreeing that I'm correct in this instance. However,
I don't quite agree with you. The OP asked "Is there an alternate
login screen to Windows 2000 that can be used rather than having
the user press Ctrl+Alt+Del". You then changed the question around
a bit by suggesting that there is no way to enter the OS without
pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del. There is, of course: Control Panel / Users /
remove the tick that requires users to enter a password. From now
on the selected user will be able to boot up the machine and get into
Windows without pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and without entering a
password.
However, when he logs off he will still see the usual Ctrl+Alt+Del
logon screen. This part is fixed, as you said.
