Hi,
Running SBS2K.
Been up for about a 3 weeks now.
Came into the office recently & found that there was no
CTRL+ALT+DEL option to allow me to log into windows!
There isn't even a "this computer is locked" dialogue
box.. And no, pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL won't bring up the
login screen..
I've checked that the keyboard is plugged in (although
given that there is no 'locked' screen, it prob is not the
problem).
I've plugged in a USB keyboard with no success. It
detected it, but didn't allow me to login.
The mouse works.
Can't use the mouse to restart the system as no 'locked'
screen..
I can log in using remote desktop connection from my
workstation. I'm thinking the best option will be to stop
all critical services & restart the server remotely.
This is a concern though, if when the server reboots we
don't get a login screen, we'll have 20 staff sitting
around unable to log in.
More likely they will be harassing us rather than sitting
round, but the end effect will be no work done by staff.
Please help.
Regards,
Gavin
