Changed ISP, old ISP still listed in Browser IE Window causes issu

How do I remove the the old ISP info from my browser window? For example...
it says: Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by Verizon. I no longer use
them and I want all that removed and have just the default IE. Do I need to
reinstall the IE or edited something? Can you even customize it to say
something like... MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER... YOU ROCK !!! OR OTHER
MESSAGES?

The reason i'm asking is that my old ISP, won't allow me access to areas of
MSN, that I need, because the browser redirects me to verizon w/ msn sites
because my browser has the verizon w/ msn logo still on it. I uninstalled the
Verizon w/ MSN deleted cookies and cache but the window still has the logo
and it refers me to Verizon sites with the limited access to MSN sites
because it's not the full version. It basically hijacks me every time to
Verizon w/ MSN sites when I want only MSN sites, like hotmail, help pages,
msn.com home page. When I go to these they always end up saying Verizon with
MSN somewhere on the page. I even tried to upgrade to the new version of
hotmail, but couldn't because it see's the browser and says i can't get it
with my current ISP, (verizon w/ MSN) which I don't have anymore. My current
ISP didn't require installing anything on the computer, plug it in and your
online so it didn't make any changes that could have fixed this. Got any
ideas?

This won't help with the other problems though. Look for Add-ons under
Tools.
