Remove IE SP2 from Operating System XP SP 2 and reinstall

I am trying to remove IE 6 and reinstall but I cannot find instructions for
SP 2. I had Verizon with MSN and now in my new location Verizon is not
available. Verizon is imbedded in the IE code and Verizon states that I have
to uninstall IE SP2 and reinstall so that I could use my MSN account.
Because of this I cannot install MSN 9 on my computer as it keeps pulling up
the old verizon account. I have deleted anything Verizon but they state that
that would not help. IE has to be reinstalled.

Help!!!!!

part of windows xp you CANNOT uninstall IE, i found that out last week.
here is the link i used, it just gave me a new IE, should work for u. MAKE
SURE u have your windows xp disk handy too, u will need it for the wizard to
replace the files w/the original ones.

I don't think that will work for SP2. I would first remove SP2 and then
reinstall SP@.
