Need to delete IE 6 SP2 and reinstall

Looking for instructions to remove IE 6 SP2 and reinstall. I have Verizon
code embedded in IE 6 SP 2 that cannot be removed. Verizon says that IE 6 SP
2 has to be removed and reinstalled. Only found SP 1 instructions that did
not work. Because of this I cannot install MSN 9 which I have an account
for. My operating system is Windows XP SP 2
