Changed from Domain to Workgroup, now I can't login!

I am trying to setup a home network, so I was playing with
the network setting on my Win2k machine. In the System
control panel, under Network Identification, I changed the
option from Domain (corp.mycompany.com) to Workgroup
(MYWORKGROUP). I saved the changes, which require a
reboot to take effect.

Now when the computer starts up, I cannot login! I tried
using my previous username/password that worked before,
and it no longer works. Also, the login screen does not
display the domain field any longer, just Username and
Password.

How can I login to change my settings back to Domain!?

You have removed the computer from the domain, so the username and password
which you were using before (which was part of the domain) will no longer
function on the PC. You will need the username and password of a local
account on the machine. I'd suggest you get in contact with your IT dept -
you won't be able to join the PC to the domain until you are back in the
office. Stop now before you do any more damage.

Once your account has been established you should instead
use a thirdparty product from GlobeSoft.com
MultiNetwork Manager will let you have multiple network
configurations and you just pick the correct one a boot
time and the software connects you and needless to say
would have saved you this frustrating situation if your
domain configuration had been saved

This guy said he set up a home network, when you installed 2000 it should
have asked you for an administration password.

Log in using the administrator account and the password you defined!
