Domain vs. workgroup logon

I have a work laptop running Win2k Pro, which normally uses a domain
logon. However, I recently changed the configuration from domain to the
workgroup of my private home network, and now I can't login at all!

My usual username and password won't work for logging on to the
workgroup, so now I can't even change back to the domain again. What can
I do?

I'm afraid you'll have to ask your network administrator to re-register
your machine on the domain, or to give you a local account/password.

Bring the laptop back to work and ask the network admin to rejoin it to the
domain. Next time, don't play with your network settings - you don't need to
change the computer's domain membership in order to access workgroup
resources - you can map drives & use printers on the home PCs if you specify
the appropriate credentials for those computers. This is one of the reasons
a lot of admins don't like to give user accounts admin rights on local
computers...it happens pretty frequently, no offense intended.
