hi need help how can i change windows xp in english to
portuguese

One cannot change the language version of Windows XP.
You'll have to purchase a "full Portuguese version" of
Windows XP, reformat your hard drive, then install it.

if you want to be able to type text in languages other than English, on an
English XP, you can add more languages to your settings..

- go to Start | Control Panel --> click Regional and Language Options
- Click on the Languages tab --> Details button --> Add button --> select a
language to add form the 'Input launguage' drop down list
