Change language

new laptop running xp media edition, all just out of the box. purchased in
an english language by a brazilian.

Can i change the OS so that when i click on START the following options eg.
CONTROL PANEL & MY DOCUMENTS are displayed in Brazilian and not English.

I have changed the default input lanaguage to Brazilian and can toggle
between them but this has not changed what i wanted.

I posted this question earlier and was told i had a response, but when i
checked i cant find it???

You had two responses. You can't do it. You have to buy another copy of
XP, in Portuguese.

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS to
another, so you'll have to purchase and use the full version of WinXP
(in whatever language you want) to perform a clean installation.
