Input Language for New Mail Messages

Alex

I recently added a new input language (Brazilian Portuguese) to my computer.
Everything seems to be working fine, e.g. I'm easily able to toggle back and
forth between English and Brazilian Portuguese when using Word, except in
Outlook. Even when English is selected as the active language for my
keyboard, it seems to swap back to Portuguese when I attempt to compose a new
mail message in Outlook. This means that every time I compose a new mail
message I need to open my language bar and toggle back to English, which is a
pain when you're sending hundreds of e-mails per day.

Any idea why this is happening and how it can be fixed? Much thanks!

I don't know why Outlook switches languages. However, to toggle between
languages you don't need to open the language bar - just use Alt+Shift.
