CF Multi Partitions

How do you format a compact flash to have multipule partitions? I have tried
fdisk and diskpart without any success. In either program I have been able
to create the partitions on the compact flash on my target device, but when I
bring the CF back to my development machine to transfer the images for FBA XP
pro doesn't see the second partition on the CF. Any ideas?

Hi Tim,

Are you using "Fix Mode" CF card? Only fix mode can create multipule
partitions.

Don't know how do you tell if they are fixed mode?

Hi Tim,

If you are using fixed mode CF card, you can delete partition at "Disk
Management" page and your CF type would be "Basic" which is same as HDD.
