CDW problems on XP Pro

Howdy;

Using a Panasonic DVD 105, I can n longer write CD's When I select fils to
burn to disk, windows replies

F:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function.

This used to work just fine. As far as I can tell, I have not applied any
quick fies or othrr chnges to my system since the last time this worked. Any
ideas?

Check your IDE Cables. Otherwise, your CDR Drive is a
goner and requires repair.

Try right clicking the drive...properties...recording tab and be sure
that enable cd recording is checked.
