CD Volume Label not showing up.

This is kinda wierd as the CDRom Volume or disk label
does not show up after a disk is inserted, however data
on the disk is readable. Hitting F5 to refresh does not
help either. However if you shutdown and restart the PC
the Disk label appears under "My Computer" or "Windows
Explorer"..

Subsequent to that, Autorun does not always work either,
maybe the 2 are related, but hope you can help. CD's are
new and readable as well in case you're wondering.
