CD Rom won't recognize specific program.

Okay this one has truly got me stumped. I recently purchased a new game
(Oblivion), and for whatever reason when I put the disk in to install it, the
drive won't even recognize that it's in there. Other discs work just not
this one. I've returned the disc thinking that the error was there, but each
new disk of this game just doesn't read in this drive.

Can anyone help me out on this one?
