I purchased a SIIG 1394 3 port adapter and installed it
in my computer. I run Windows XP Pro (SP1). After
installing whenever i restart my computer both my DVDROM
drive and CD-ReadWrite drive are not recognized by
windows (they do not list in Explorer). My DVD-ROM drive
keeps flashing showing it has some error. The Easy CD
creator also does not recognize the CDRW drive. Also,
when i connect my camcorder (CANON ZR60) to the computer
and run the software (Ulead VideoStudio) the computer
ALWAYS crashes. The problem (drive not recognized)
persists even after i uninstall the IEEE 1394 hardware.

Any help to solve this problem will be greatly
appreciated.

Hi,

Save the file below to your hard drive. Navigate to where you saved it and
double click the file. A confirmation dialog will appear when the script is
done. You may need to reboot for the change to take effect.
