cd/dvd-rom not working

My cd/dvd-roms are not showing up in the my computer explorer. When I check
the device it said unable to load due to code 39. When I put a disc in the
tray it will not read. Drivers are stated to be working properly.

I am having the same exact problem.

Hi,
I am having trouble with my CD burning. It burns, but when I chance CD's it
won't pick up the new CD I put in and only wants to burn to the first CD.
Any ideas what to do???
