can't use sytem restore

hi, can anyone help i tried to get new drivers for video card and got messed
up, tried system restore but it won't go back says incomplete restoration and
will not reset to before i screwed up! any help will be appreciated. thank
you.

What is the problem you are having.

If you're able to get into windows, turn system restore off, reboot then
turn it on again. If not, boot into Windows Advanced Option Menu by
pressing F8 after post boot. Start in Safe Mode and update the drivers from
there.

Your restore points are corrupt. You will need to turn System Restore off
(right click my computer > properties > system restore tab) reboot and then
turn it back on. You will lose all point but, as they're corrupt, it's no
great loss.

system looked like grenade hit it,everything slowed up.would not work properly.
at least before i messed with it.

ok ,got old drivers back but it's not like it was it's like theres something

that seems to be the general consensus, is there no other way ? except losing
it all and starting from scratch?

not exactly,tried updating video graphics card from manufacturers site with
newer drivers for that extra edge and screwed up everything and system
restore won't take back to undo my mistake keeps giving me restoration
incomplete no matter which date i hit .
