System Restore won't work

Hi,

My system restore won't work.

Back in March, my Dell computer was completely wiped clean because of a
virus. Since then, the computer seemed to be working fine until just
recently.

For some strange reason the Yahoo Website will not function on this
computer. The main page will come up, but when I try to open something -
nothing happens. Then I get the "Page can not be displayed". I also tried
running a Norton Security Check from the Norton Website, but I got the "Page
can not be displayed" error too.

I tried today to do a system restore from a previous point, but I got the
following message:

"Restoration Incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored to 09/05/2006.
Please choose another point."

I've tried several points after that date with the same results.

I have Norton Security 2006 & Webroot Spy Sweeper on my computer, but they
haven't uncovered anything.

I'm not very computer literate.....so.....can someone please help???

Hi,

Norton be the source of the problem. I would suggest uninstalling it completely.
