can't use scanner since installing WindowsXP Pro

I have not been able to scan anything since i installed
WindowsXP. My printer works OK, no scanner or fax
either. I went to Windows site to see if there was a
driver I needed but no luck. Please, if you can, help.

Go to the Scanner manufacturers web site, they are the ones that write the
drivers. Microsoft just certifies them.
