Can't use address bar for search

When I use the address bar to search I get "This page
cannot be displayed message." Didn't do this until My
way search installed itself. (Removed using both spybot
and adaware and using add/remove programs)

Any help would be appreciated.

On the tools menu of IE go to Internet Options -->Advanced
tab. Scroll down to search from the address bar, click on
the third option "just display the results in the main
window". That should fix it.

I also can't use the address bar for search after having removed a virus. I tried the suggested fix from Richie, but that didn't fix it. Any other suggestions.
