Unable to search using address bar

I recently cleaned Spyware and Adware from my computer
using Spybot and AdAware. After cleaning, I am no longer
able to use the address bar to search the web. It
continually gives me the "Cannot find Server - this page
cannot be displayed" error. Is there some registry
setting I can fix to correct this error?

That is unusual. Did you check Spybot and Adaware for
something that may NOT be spyware? In Adaware look in
the Quarantined Objects. In Spybot look in the Recovery
Section.

I dont know much about spy stuff etc. but I am haveing a
problem similar now and I dont wnow where/how to fix it at
all. I have win98/ie6 and did a upgrade to ms chat SW the
other day and it really messed everything ALL up so i
cannot get online at all or anypages AT ALL to LOAD.. none.
just no reload etc on all even home page. SO I am using
netscape. SO HOW DO I FIX THIS. I have an immediate need to
get both running NOW. It is very important. I am a novice
bout any fixing sw or sites or whateve. I had security app
but it messed up also and I caould get no support thought i
paid for it and had it ony 4 months. so I had to uninstall
it too. WHERE does this Horror from HELL come from.. how
can i fix it? help
