Need help with regedit to restore MSN as search from address bar.

Ok, here is what I have. I had several malicious programs
that installed themselves on my computer while I was on
the internet. I removed them with AdAware 6.0 but can not
search from the address bar anymore. One of the programs
was a search from address bar program and when it was
removed I do not know what to use to make MSN search from
the address bar as it did before. I used the advanced IE
Options and selected search from address bar-display
results in window. However all it will do is go to
closest site instead of searching via MSN. Any help?

(Remember to perform a Webupdate to have the latest definitions installed)


Next, reset the Search Engine.

Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Programs > "Reset Web Settings"
Click the Search button in the toolbar > Customize > AutoSearch Settings >
Select a provider from the list.

If this does not help, try deleting the following registry keys:

Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and goto this location:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Search Bar
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Search Page
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Default_Page_URL
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Default_Search_URL
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search\SearchAssistant
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search\CustomizeSearch
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Search Bar
