Can't update after installing latest critical updates

I just did a windows update on all the PC's at work. Now they're all
messed up. I can't go to windows update and remove the updates and when
I do system properties, all it shows is the ram info. The CPU stuff is
gone and when going to the network panel, nothing is there as well. WTH
happened?

Have you tried rebooting the computer in SAFE MODE. If not reboot the
computer and right before you hear the bootup beep press and hold down
the button F8, then select SAFE MODE. You might be able to remove the
updates that way.

did that, tried to uninstall updates, it tells me the IE in not
configured for user persitant data, i checked and it is
