Can't send some messages

I'm unable to send some messages unless I restart my computer and
Send/Receive as soon as it comes back up. The messages I can't send easily
are reply's or any messages with attachments, eventhough I used to be able to
send them. I receive messages just fine. I get this error message:


Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject '', Account: 'Charter', Server: 'smtp.charter.net',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Any ideas would be great.

That type of error is often caused by interference from a non-
compatible antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
