Is anyone having issues with sending emails???? I had this issue yesterday
but thought it was just a fluke. Now, I can't even send them off my laptop.
Please someone help...error messages say that it could be an authenication

I have been having this problem as well for a while. With the same error
message. I have tried fixing it with my router company and internet provider
and everything is good on those sides so it is microsoft. Not sure what to
do from here.

How do you know you have the same problem with the same error message?
Neither the OP or yourself has posted the entire error message yet. We
can't do a thing for either of you without it.

Make sure you have send authentication enabled.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
Enable the "My server requires authentication" option.
