Can't retrieve email

Hi all,
My Outlook 2000 will not retreive incoming emails. I use
a LAN in my office building and I get NO error message
when requesting Outlook to retreive email. It goes about
its business and even displays a "task completed" notice,
but it is NOT retrieving emails from my bellsouth.net
email server. Outlook will however send emails using the
office mail server. Outlook Express on the other hand,
works just fine so I use it to get incoming email. Why is
this? I want to use ONLY Outlook 2000 for incoming and
outgoing mail. How can I fix this?

What do you have in tools | services? Do you connect to an Exchange server?
Note that using Exchange and Internet Mail in the same profile is not
supported in versions of Outlook prior to OL2002.
If this isn't the case - are you sure you have the exact same POP server
name in Outlook as in OE?
